I'd just like to make a post for whoever of those who still may browse the website to clarify a few things. First off I didn't intend on letting the server die however I really do not have time anymore in college and I have more important things to focus on now. It's become too expensive and time consuming for me to personally run everything so instead I'm going to transition into allowing someone else to fully control the server. I've been talking to a few friends who are willing to take up the job and it's currently not ready nor am I because I'm still getting situated into classes and my schedule but the transfer of ownership is going to happen soon. If anyone's personally interested in running the server feel free to contact me however I'm not going to let just anyone do it. I will be keeping my name on everything and I will be the actual owner, however the new owner will be managing and running everything aside from the initial cost for hosting and everything to bring the server back up which I can provide. If all of this goes through my idea is that many old players may come back but I'm not going to allow the server to be released without proper ownership and management prior. I don't personally have any dates or anything yet however I can guarantee that it will happen within the coming months.
I'd also like to give a big thank you to everyone who's chosen to be a part of this community and thank you for all the enjoyment that running this server has provided for me and for those who have enjoyed it. It's been quite a journey but all good things must come to an end. I'll admit I had many flaws as an owner and the server never was perfect in my eyes however I'm at a point in life where I need to move to bigger things. Once the server has new ownership I'll be guiding the new owner through the motions and the basics of running and managing a server and providing them with all of my personal resources. I'm looking for some positive feedback in the wake of a negative recent past while in the midst of change. Again, thank you all.
